Guardian.co.uk- Buckets of Interactivity!

Posted on February 24, 2008. Filed under: Newsy |

In my opinion, the Guardian website is extremely interactive. It offers its users an array of different features, allowing them generous choice.

To begin with, ‘guardianjobs‘ is an excellent tool. It allows users to search for jobs in their sector of preference and upload their cv, while also providing helpful career advice and information on ongoing courses for those who want to further their academic life.

Guardian Soulmatesis another useful interactive service on the site. It allows users to communicate with like-minded people; a service, I can only assume, that was in great demand coming up to Valentine’s Day.

Finally, there are a range of other interactive services, apart from the typical podcasts and blogs found on news websites. Guardian.co.uk allows its users to preform a range of activites, from making hotel reservations, to placing bets, to booking holidays and everything in between.

Regarding levels of interactivity, I feel the technicians behind guardian.co.uk had the user entirely in mind, thus explaining the large level of control that users have.
